There's no contract, how does that work?
There is no contract needed when subscribing to eGear. We only require you to provide proof of your subscription payment
via email and provide your unique reference number. Mail your payment details to admin@egear.co.za and we will activate
your account within 24 hours.
My application does not show, it shows a black page with a message saying that the application can not be displayed
The page showing the message that the application can not be displayed may occur for a few reasons:
  • You have canceled your subscription and your application is not active at the moment
  • Your application was still in trial period, and that trial period has expired
  • You have used an incorrect application code, login and check your code carefully.
I don't know how to use the iframe and where to put my application code
To make sure you have the exact syntax needed to embed the iframe in your application, login to access your account,
click on the "Embed Application" button to the right on the grid, and copy and paste the code provided.
Make sure you have enough space to display your application. You can set the size in the iframe,
or you can set these settings under your "application settings" and eGear will modify it for you.

What is my application code?
Your application code is an unique identifier accross all clients, that uniquely identifies your application.
eGear uses this code to lookup your application and create the content to display in the inline frame.
